Go issues you can actually pick up

Summary The disaster recovery guide covers recovery procedures, but there are no decision-tree runbooks for on-call operators responding to alerts. A new operator seeing an alert for the first time has to read architecture docs to understand what to do. Needed Runbooks Top alert…

Problem The DS handler at workflow_handlers.go:1373 logs total_count and returned_count but does not log the filter parameters (component, environment, severity, priority). This made triaging #786 significantly harder — the hypothesis was that the DS SQL filtering was wrong, when…

Summary During rolling updates, each cluster's PerClusterPlacementStatus.ObservedResourceIndex is always set to the latest resource snapshot index, even when the binding for that cluster still points to an older resource snapshot. This means the per-cluster status does not…

Requirement Organizations running data warehouses on AWS Redshift need a first-class exporter that loads flag evaluation events directly into Redshift — without requiring an S3 intermediate stage. This enables BI teams to join feature flag data with application metrics already in…

Describe the bug I'm trying to install the argocd-agent-addon on my hub cluster using the provided helm command in the documentation but the installation always fail with "ensure CRDs are installed first" error. Error: INSTALLATION FAILED: unable to build kubernetes objects from…

What would you like to be added: A helper mechanism for validating and exploring YAML configuration fields, ideally with autocomplete and schema validation support. Why is this needed: Context: When working with the ECS UpdateService API, configuration errors can be surprisingly…

Summary There is a // TODO: should update scheduled bindings to the latest snapshot when it is updated to bound state. at pkg/controllers/rollout/controller_integration_test.go:1074. The existing integration test at that location verifies that bindings are not rolled out after…

Summary I would like to propose surfacing MCP tool annotations in the gateway so policy can reason about tool behavior, not only tool names. Today the gateway already has the pieces needed for name-based tool policy: it discovers tools, prefixes them, routes tools/call, and…

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The member-agent and hub-agent Helm charts have no template tests. We recently found that replicaCount was defined in values.yaml but never rendered in the Deployment spec — it went unnoticed because nothing checks…

As for now, when the argocd-agent is deployed, it seems like it is deployed with default values. But some values would need to be overrided, like for instance ARGOCD_PRINCIPAL_TLS_SERVER_ALLOW_GENERATE, ARGOCD_PRINCIPAL_JWT_ALLOW_GENERATE etc, otherwise some errors are raised if…

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Currently, the project does not include fuzz tests. This means certain classes of bugs—such as unexpected input handling issues, parsing errors, or edge-case crashes—may go undetected during regular unit or…

The browser icons in the launcher window are quite large (128x128px hardcoded in window_launcher.go). On lower resolution or smaller displays, this makes the launcher feel oversized. It would be helpful to have a configurable icon size, either: A icon_size setting in config.toml…

Summary No trend metrics to predict when backends will fill. Operators must manually check usage dashboards and extrapolate. Impact Reactive scaling — learn about quota exhaustion from failed writes, not proactive alerts No "days until full" metric for capacity planning…

Problem When the Kubernaut Agent investigates OLM-related incidents on OpenShift (e.g., OperatorCSVFailed), the LLM's tool calls to inspect OLM resources all fail with RBAC denials: clusterserviceversions.operators.coreos.com is forbidden: User…

I want to allow users to login to openbao They would do it from the app. I have their email, and it would be nice if I could url_encode their email and it would be a valid username. The restriction that it can only be alphanumeric characters seems arbitrary, and I would love an…

Summary deploy/notification/01-rbac.yaml is a stale standalone manifest that diverges from the Helm chart and E2E infrastructure: Uses legacy API group notification.kubernaut.ai instead of kubernaut.ai Grants secrets get/list/watch — no longer needed after #244 (credentials via…

What would you like to see implemented? I would like ORC to support setting more advanced options on Port resources, like extra_dhcp_opts. Additional information Background - in the future I would like to see if replacing or have k-orc as an option to Openstack Heat in…

Describe the problem/challenge you have Localpv-zfs is very flexible in the sense that it reflects a lot of volume/dataset parameters in the StorageClass. For specific workloads (e.g. a Postgres database), one might desire some special recordsize/compression/etc options on the…

Problem The original report describes pbuilder failing to satisfy build requirements while the pipeline still uploads artifacts and proceeds to irgsh-repo, which then has no .deb to inject. Preserve this safety requirement for the rootless migration in #205 rather than opening a…

It appears that parameters set using --hf_overrides are ignored by the vllm backend. Either when certain parameters are supplied (ie. tensor_parallel_size or max_model_len) Is there any other way to provide runtime arguments to the vllm backend outside using --hf_overrides? vllm…

Logo Redesign / Community Logo Ideas Hey everyone I’ve been thinking about giving the project a more recognizable visual identity, and I’d love to hear ideas from the community for a new logo! The current logo works, but I feel we could have something that better represents the…

Instead of creating a pull request every time a new db-operator version is released, I would like to have a job, that does it automatically. Now, when we have a script that is syncing CRDs from the operator code, it should become pretty straightforward. The job has to do the…

Problem Currently, the codebase supports both normalized and denormalized data storage modes through the normalization flag in stream metadata, but lacks comprehensive integration tests that validate denormalization behavior across different drivers and scenarios. This gap…

Goal Add aegisctl federation status for operators using control-plane and data-plane federation. Behavior Call GET /admin/v1/federation/planes using AEGISFLOW_ADMIN_URL or default admin URL. Print one row per data plane with name, health, last seen time, and request count.…

Summary Add a ValidatingAdmissionPolicy (VAP) to give users early feedback when multiple MCPServerRegistrations in the same namespace target the same HTTPRoute. The controller already detects this conflict (oldest wins, newest marked conflicted), but users only see this after…

Description Currently, our integration tests use separate --compilers and --procs flags to configure Ginkgo's parallelization. According to the Ginkgo v2.23.4 documentation, these flags can be replaced with a single -p flag for improved usability. Current Implementation…

kgateway version v2.2.0 (also missing in v2.3.0-rc.2 as of writing) Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. ListenerPolicy.spec.default currently exposes access logging only under httpSettings.accessLog, which translates to Envoy's HTTP Connection Manager.…

Describe the issue Summary In the NATS eventing driver (internal/events/nats/natschannel.go), the subject field for outgoing CloudEvents is currently hardcoded to the literal string "TODO". This field should instead uniquely identify the specific entity (such as a repository,…

What actuals_test.go currently skips annotation comparison when the previous state is known. Tighten assertions to compare annotations where the test has enough context to do so. Location test/scheduler/actuals_test.go:289

Would it be posssible to add support for token-based authentication for argocd-agent-addon? We are using EKS with managed clusters joined via awsirsa, and the current cert-based / customSigner flow appears to hit the same limitation as the closed issue: •…

Problem The OLake codebase currently has unit tests for: resolver flattener catalog However, the file olake/types/stream.go does not have any test coverage. This file handles critical stream definition and configuration logic for the OLake connector. Without unit tests, bugs in…

What did you do? Hover a chart in the dashboard The Viewport scrolls and jumps What did you expect to see? The view port should be consistent It seems when a user is hovering over a chart, due to the position of the tooltip, half of the tooltip is off the viewport. This enables…

Currently "Alerts", "Records", "Dashboards" are populated only if prom-analytics-proxy is deployed together with Perses Metrics Usage. As this is not a strict dependency, we should introduce a toggle (maybe flag / config.yaml unless it's possible to autodetect it somehow) to…

Problem Currently, the codebase has unit tests for catalog merging functionality (mergeCatalogs in types/catalog_test.go), but lacks comprehensive integration tests that validate the discover and merging behavior with stream selection and unselection across different drivers.…

Proposal add upgrade scenario to suite of e2e tests - https://github.com/kedacore/http-add-on/tree/main/tests/checks Use-Case No response Is this a feature you are interested in implementing yourself? Yes Anything else? No response

Proposal After a discussion I had with @jgbernalp, it seems QueryEditorProps could be removed from the Code-Base, because no valid usage can be found for the type. For more information you can take a look at perses/plugins#242 (comment) Defected Version v0.52.0-beta.3

From the README or logrus it is in maintenance-mode. Latest release is +2y old. We are already using Zap in our controller and kubelet, so we can use just one logging library. We can also improve the logging of the cli using the stdout to write the messages, while the stderr for…

Current Behavior: On mobile screens, the Keploy docs website does not look good with the current styling. Some elements are not well aligned, and the layout feels broken or hard to use. Expected Behavior: The docs website should have a mobile-friendly style where all sections are…

Ability to quickly open app in browser would be really usefull. It can be done using something like xdg-open for linux. Or at least show link to argocd ui to easily copy-paste this link.

What problem does your feature solve? Currently simulation response doesn't include the simulated memory consumption to the users. This information is useful for the diagnostics, optimization etc. It also helps users to understand when the transaction may exceed the memory limit…

problem OpenObserve generates a high volume of INFO-level access logs for every ingestion request. Since Fluent-Bit and the OTel Collector are constantly pushing data, this creates a wall of noise that makes it hard to spot anything useful in the OpenObserve logs. Example (these…

Proposal A log table receives results from multiple queries. Currently the merged results are sorted in descending order. The order should be configurable. For more information take a look at perses/plugins#533 (review)

The SDK has two issues exception mechanisms: mechanism type is always generic. According to the spec, type must be non-generic for SDK captures, but we currently don't have a way to distinguish between the two. No real API to pass mechanism to the exception. Proposed Solution Add…

We’re working to make Elasti more robust and reliable—and a big part of that is our E2E integration tests, built using the KUTTL testing framework. We’d love your help in extending and improving these tests! 🚀 A Great First Contribution If you're looking for a place to start…

We should indicate which pgbackrest version is used by the plugin, and have a clear information on the supported versions (if many) : at least in the documentation maybe it the tag

While InMem is useful for dev mode server, we should drop inmemha backend and switch to PostgreSQL everywhere. I think we can speed up creation of this by a reused global test server, using unique table prefixes for everything. This is only used in the test suite.

Currrently Surge automatically renames files, this is fine for default behaviour but we should provide more customization Describe the solution you'd like Settings option to select wether Surge should Overwrite Rename Always ask incase the file already exists

What problem are we solving? There is no way to manage agent identities through agentic (AI-driven) workflows. MCP users have no tools to create, query, or update agent records. Who are we solving this for? Developers and administrators using MCP-based agentic workflows who need…

Problem or use case Session management now exists, but operators may still want: clearer device labels browser/platform parsing more obvious session age and risk surfacing audit-linked session actions Premise is basically a Foundry admin asking "I can revoke sessions, but it is…

Problem or use case Foundry is extensible, but a new user also evaluates maturity by the quality and breadth of official plugins. A first time user vetting Foundry will ask "I want more official plugins before betting on the platform." Proposed solution Ship or publish official…

Problem or use case A new user often forms their impression from the scaffolded/default site. If the starting site is too minimal, it undersells: theming taxonomies media usage navigation admin capabilities I want the starter project to demonstrate what Foundry can really do.…

Follow up from some discussion in #387. Right now a lot of our testing uses logic that is built with -tags=test. This creates pain when testing isolated functions and makes it so that sometimes we are not directly testing the logic we have written - we are testing some other…

Currently in MacOS, on the details pane I cannot scroll through any of the Attributes. The suggested keyboard combinations (Ctrl+J, Ctrl+K) don't scroll the pane. Ctrl+J seems to open and close the pane, and Ctrl+K doesn't seem to do anything.

(If this is already a feature and I just missed it, please let me know!) It'd be great if there'd be an option to change what inbox a ticket is assigned to. i.e. if a user accidentally contacts technical@example.com with a billing question, I'd want to move the ticket to the…
