Problem The DS handler at workflow_handlers.go:1373 logs total_count and returned_count but does not log the filter parameters (component, environment, severity, priority). This made triaging #786 significantly harder — the hypothesis was that the DS SQL filtering was wrong, when…

Summary During rolling updates, each cluster's PerClusterPlacementStatus.ObservedResourceIndex is always set to the latest resource snapshot index, even when the binding for that cluster still points to an older resource snapshot. This means the per-cluster status does not…

What would you like to be added: A helper mechanism for validating and exploring YAML configuration fields, ideally with autocomplete and schema validation support. Why is this needed: Context: When working with the ECS UpdateService API, configuration errors can be surprisingly…

Summary There is a // TODO: should update scheduled bindings to the latest snapshot when it is updated to bound state. at pkg/controllers/rollout/controller_integration_test.go:1074. The existing integration test at that location verifies that bindings are not rolled out after…

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The member-agent and hub-agent Helm charts have no template tests. We recently found that replicaCount was defined in values.yaml but never rendered in the Deployment spec — it went unnoticed because nothing checks…

Problem When the Kubernaut Agent investigates OLM-related incidents on OpenShift (e.g., OperatorCSVFailed), the LLM's tool calls to inspect OLM resources all fail with RBAC denials: clusterserviceversions.operators.coreos.com is forbidden: User…

Context PR #2098 (Spring Boot 4) took the drop-in TestRestTemplate path from the new spring-boot-resttestclient module for AbstractBaseIT. Per the evaluation in #2053, the SF7-native RestTestClient is the future-proof replacement (TestRestTemplate is on a soft deprecation path),…

Summary deploy/notification/01-rbac.yaml is a stale standalone manifest that diverges from the Helm chart and E2E infrastructure: Uses legacy API group notification.kubernaut.ai instead of kubernaut.ai Grants secrets get/list/watch — no longer needed after #244 (credentials via…

What would you like to see implemented? I would like ORC to support setting more advanced options on Port resources, like extra_dhcp_opts. Additional information Background - in the future I would like to see if replacing or have k-orc as an option to Openstack Heat in…

Describe the problem/challenge you have Localpv-zfs is very flexible in the sense that it reflects a lot of volume/dataset parameters in the StorageClass. For specific workloads (e.g. a Postgres database), one might desire some special recordsize/compression/etc options on the…

Currently, the SelfNodeRemediationConfig custom resource exposes a customDsTolerations which is useful for allowing the DaemonSet schedule on tainted nodes. However, the lack of NodeSelector and Affinity means that it's not currently possible to achieve "every node except"…

Description Currently, our integration tests use separate --compilers and --procs flags to configure Ginkgo's parallelization. According to the Ginkgo v2.23.4 documentation, these flags can be replaced with a single -p flag for improved usability. Current Implementation…

kgateway version v2.2.0 (also missing in v2.3.0-rc.2 as of writing) Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. ListenerPolicy.spec.default currently exposes access logging only under httpSettings.accessLog, which translates to Envoy's HTTP Connection Manager.…

What actuals_test.go currently skips annotation comparison when the previous state is known. Tighten assertions to compare annotations where the test has enough context to do so. Location test/scheduler/actuals_test.go:289

We’re working to make Elasti more robust and reliable—and a big part of that is our E2E integration tests, built using the KUTTL testing framework. We’d love your help in extending and improving these tests! 🚀 A Great First Contribution If you're looking for a place to start…

Now that we are using the correct kind format of Deployment instead of deployments we should phase it out from the complete codebase including examples, documentation, tests etc. We should also refactor code to better handle user supplied ElastiService where older format is used.…

Bug Description We are fetching the config using env in places within the code like https://github.com/truefoundry/KubeElasti/blob/42de4f197e19d88cd027ceaf36c5ff20fda2932c/operator/cmd/main.go#L79 There should be a single library to load configuration using…

Requirement We may enhance the garbage collection by providing a list of resources we can and want to delete instead of checking the API. It would be more reliable and avoid a stressfull API call to check the entire list of APIs available in the cluster. Whatever resource we want…

Hi all, I'd really like to be able to handle secrets that contain blob data in the form of key value properties. eg for somekey content: key1=a key2=b key3=c ... Many applications know how to read properties files and as such lots of existing vault config (for me anyway) is in…

Description: Create and add a reference architecture diagram showing how Envoy Gateway fits into a user’s system (similar to Tetrate's architecture diagrams). Determine the best location for this diagram, possibly under the Concepts section.
